Message	A week or so ago I posted a thread asking the theoretical speed limit for a 93 TT with an auto trans and stock rear. I got some replies along the lines of 185mph as being the theoretical mechanical limit of the stock engine, trans and rear end. Caution was advised regarding the car being able to substain that speed or being able to reach it at all due to sympathetic vibrations or valve return or other reasons. There is a current post where someone posted a really cool picture of his gauge at 160mph and it shows the rpm nearing 6500. This was in 5th gear and with redline being 400 rpm away, how could the car hope to reach 185mph? Not to mention his was a stick, which I would imagine has a higher top speed than the auto. Any ideas anyone?
